When I put my son into the local public school system 15 years ago (my, how time has flown) I soon found that he had strengths and weaknesses that were simply unable to be served in that system. Now, don’t get me wrong – I’m actually a supporter of public education. But I also recognize that it is not for everyone.
Like many other concerned parents, I began to educate myself about the alternatives. Now, 15 years ago in San Diego County, those were limited, especially for those of us living on limited budgets! But I persevered. And I found the amazing world of homeschooling.
Again, this is not for everyone. And it certainly does not solve all our problems. But, at the time, it was the perfect solution for our family.
Today, there are more and more families choosing to home-school their children. On this site you will find products that will help you in this quest.
